Commercialization and retention of IP in U.S. universities is a relatively new
feature on the higher education landscape. Universities are a key feature of
Chinese government's plans for economic development. This Roundtable strives to
illuminate how universities might collaborate through co-located joint
technology ventures in China and the U.S. The Roundtable will explore the
fundamental principles for developing a model for cooperation in both upstream
and downstream science and technology research and development.
